cannon's custom cakes and bakery

My wife and I just ordered and had our wedding cake from here. I can't tell you how much effort was put into this because they knocked it out of the park. We had an odd design with comics and fancy scroll work but the owner came out (who is a comic fan too) and walked us through every layer of cake. I am pretty sure he must have worked on it too because each superhero had a scene that matched the background of the character and it blew me away. What an artist to be able to do something so detailed with food. We loved our cake and our guests complimented us on it as well and how moist it was. I do have to say we took up 2 appointment times and ran into another appointment but they were accommodating to both us and the other couple to be sure they had our cake correct. We want to get married again to have another cool cake

Great family and great place for birthday cakes. Its nice to see local people still operating a quality product. Our grandsons 1st birthday cake was a hit! And those gluten free chocolate chip cookies were the best and I don't have a gluten free intolerance!

I bought a paw patrol cake for my son's 3rd birthday party. Confettie cake with Oreo cookie filling. The cake was moist the filling was tasty and all we hoped it would be.

My daughter drew a photo for my husband and when we were talking about what kind of cake we wanted to get him for his birthday she goes and gets that off the fridge. So after a recommendation from many Facebook friends off we went with our picture in hand to Cannon's. First I have to say I was a little disappointed that they were busy because I had a full day, but now I see why. They had no problem doing what I asked and the cake turned out just like the photo my daughter drew! It was amazing and my husband was so taken aback! The price was reasonable and less then what I expected and it tasted so good! They also had these little pineapple upside down cakes that we shared on the way home and it was so buttery tasting! I found my new favorite bakery. Thank you for doing what you do!

We recently bought a birthday cake for our daughter's 17th birthday, we have bought numerous custom cakes from this store and were always impressed with their quality of work. Unfortunately, they did not live up to our expectations of the cake we received yesterday. The cake was pleasing to the eye however, the cake was dry and the icing seemed too thick; it wasn't moist like any of he cakes we had purchased from this establishment before.To make it worse my daughter said "it looked like they burnt this cake and used it anyway". We were very very disappointed in the product we received at Cannons Custom Cakes!!!

I never leave reviews but my experience has been nothing short of stellar! I live out of state but we’re coming to Delaware to celebrate my son’s 9th birthday with family. Cannon’s made several cakes for me in the past when I lived in Delaware so it was a no brainer to order a cake from them. I thought the process would be daunting but Nikki was on it! I told her my son wanted a sonic theme, gave her some vague ideas then she immediately was able to articulate the vision in my mind. I didn’t have to send a photo or anything although she gave me the option, there was no need! I’m confident and excited to see my son’s cake next week! I’ll post a picture of the completed masterpiece! Thanks Nikki and Cannon’s for continuously providing amazing customer service and never compromising on the taste and quality of your baked goods!!

long running spot with multiple generations of the family. clean place, busy on the weekend, everything is always spot on, and the prices are fair. My favorite is the black bottom cheesecake and the sugar cookies. we don't ever go nowhere else only Cannons
